App Won't Install
Symptoms
Section titled “Symptoms”- Installer fails to run
- Installation freezes or crashes
- Error message during installation
- App doesn’t appear after installation
1. Windows SmartScreen Blocking
Section titled “1. Windows SmartScreen Blocking”If you see “Windows protected your PC”:
- Click More info
- Click Run anyway
- Installation proceeds normally
2. Run as Administrator
Section titled “2. Run as Administrator”- Right-click on
FeedFlux-Setup.exe - Select Run as administrator
- Click Yes on the UAC prompt
- Proceed with installation
3. Antivirus Interference
Section titled “3. Antivirus Interference”Some antivirus software may block the installer:
- Temporarily disable your antivirus
- Run the installer
- Re-enable antivirus after installation
- Add FeedFlux to antivirus exceptions/whitelist
4. Insufficient Disk Space
Section titled “4. Insufficient Disk Space”FeedFlux requires at least 500 MB of free space:
- Check available disk space
- Free up space if needed
- Retry installation
5. Corrupted Download
Section titled “5. Corrupted Download”- Delete the downloaded installer
- Clear browser download cache
- Download fresh copy from dashboard
- Verify file size matches expected (~150-200 MB)
6. Previous Installation Conflict
Section titled “6. Previous Installation Conflict”If you had a previous version:
- Uninstall old version from Control Panel
- Delete remaining files in
C:\Program Files\FeedFlux - Delete
%AppData%\FeedFluxfolder - Restart computer
- Install fresh
Still Not Working?
Section titled “Still Not Working?”- Check Windows Event Viewer for detailed error logs
- Try installing to a different drive/location
- Contact support with error message screenshot
