Logged Out During Automation

  • Instagram asks for login during workflow
  • “Session expired” message
  • Automation fails at Instagram login screen
  • Account logged out repeatedly
  1. Stop any running workflow
  2. On your phone, open Instagram manually
  3. Log in with your credentials
  4. Complete any security verifications
  5. Navigate around to confirm you’re logged in
  6. Then restart your workflow

Instagram may have triggered security:

  • Check for “Confirm it’s you” prompts
  • Complete SMS or email verification
  • Confirm your identity as requested
  • Wait for the security process to complete

If your Instagram account has 2FA:

  • 2FA prompts will interrupt automation
  • Log in manually and select “Remember this device”
  • Consider app-based 2FA over SMS for stability

Instagram may log you out if it detects unusual activity:

Check Instagram account settings:

  1. Open Instagram → Settings → Security
  2. Review Login activity
  3. Remove any suspicious sessions
  4. Check Emails from Instagram for security alerts

Ensure Instagram stays logged in:

  • Don’t clear app data/cache
  • Don’t use multiple devices simultaneously
  • Keep Instagram app updated
  • Don’t log into Instagram web during automation
