Symptoms
Section titled “Symptoms”- “Your account has been temporarily restricted”
- Cannot perform any actions
- May see specific restriction duration
- Account still accessible but limited
Understanding Restrictions
Section titled “Understanding Restrictions”Restrictions are more serious than action blocks:

1. Stop All Automation
Section titled “1. Stop All Automation”- Do not run any workflows
- Do not try any automated actions
- Wait for restriction to lift
2. Don’t Appeal Immediately
Section titled “2. Don’t Appeal Immediately”- Appealing might flag your account further
- Wait for natural restriction lift
- Only appeal if restriction lasts beyond stated time
3. Document the Restriction
Section titled “3. Document the Restriction”- Screenshot any messages
- Note when restriction started
- Note what actions were restricted
During Restriction Period
Section titled “During Restriction Period”1. Use Account Normally (If Possible)
If you can still browse:
- View stories
- Scroll through feed
- Watch reels
- Post content (if allowed)
2. Don’t Try Blocked Actions
- Repeated attempts may extend restriction
- Wait patiently
- Don’t use other apps/tools to try actions
3. Secure Your Account
Use this time to ensure account security:
- Change password
- Enable 2FA if not already
- Review connected apps
- Review login activity
After Restriction Lifts
Section titled “After Restriction Lifts”1. Wait Additional Time
Even after restriction lifts:
- Wait 24-48 more hours
- Don’t immediately return to automation
2. Resume Slowly

3. Review Your Automation Settings
Before resuming:
- Increase all delays
- Reduce daily limits
- Add more randomization
- Consider different workflow patterns
Avoiding Future Restrictions
Section titled “Avoiding Future Restrictions”- Follow all limits strictly
- Use quality over quantity approach
- Don’t automate new accounts
- Keep accounts aged (6+ months) for automation
- Have backup manual engagement strategy
