Enabling USB Debugging

USB Debugging allows your computer to communicate with your Android device. This is required for FeedFlux to work.

Developer Options is a hidden menu that must be enabled first.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap About phone
  3. Find Build number
  4. Tap “Build number” 7 times rapidly
  5. You’ll see a message: “You are now a developer!”
  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap About phone
  3. Tap Software information
  4. Tap Build number 7 times
  5. Enter your PIN/pattern if prompted
  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap About phone
  3. Tap MIUI version 7 times
  1. Go back to Settings
  2. Tap System (or scroll down)
  3. Tap Developer options
  4. Scroll down to find USB debugging
  5. Toggle USB debugging ON
  6. Confirm by tapping OK on the warning dialog

While in Developer Options, also enable these settings for best performance:

Some Android brands require additional settings for full compatibility with FeedFlux.

  • Additional step: Enable USB debugging in Settings → Developer options
  • May also need to disable Auto blocker in Settings → Security

In Developer options, also enable:

  • USB debugging (Security settings)
  • Install via USB
  • Disable MIUI optimization (may require restart)

Disable MIUI permission monitoring

  1. Enable Allow ADB debugging in charge only mode
  2. Set USB connection mode to File Transfer
  • Enable Disable permission monitoring
  • Enable OEM unlocking (optional, for advanced features)
