Enabling USB Debugging
USB Debugging allows your computer to communicate with your Android device. This is required for FeedFlux to work.
Step 1: Enable Developer Options
Section titled “Step 1: Enable Developer Options”Developer Options is a hidden menu that must be enabled first.
On most Android devices:
Section titled “On most Android devices:”- Open Settings
- Scroll down and tap About phone
- Find Build number
- Tap “Build number” 7 times rapidly
- You’ll see a message: “You are now a developer!”
On Samsung devices:
Section titled “On Samsung devices:”- Open Settings
- Tap About phone
- Tap Software information
- Tap Build number 7 times
- Enter your PIN/pattern if prompted
On Xiaomi/MIUI devices:
Section titled “On Xiaomi/MIUI devices:”- Open Settings
- Tap About phone
- Tap MIUI version 7 times
Step 2: Enable USB Debugging
Section titled “Step 2: Enable USB Debugging”- Go back to Settings
- Tap System (or scroll down)
- Tap Developer options
- Scroll down to find USB debugging
- Toggle USB debugging ON
- Confirm by tapping OK on the warning dialog
Step 3: Additional Settings (Recommended)
Section titled “Step 3: Additional Settings (Recommended)”While in Developer Options, also enable these settings for best performance:

| Stay awake | Prevents phone from sleeping while charging |
| Disable permission monitoring (Xiaomi) | Prevents popup interruptions |
| USB debugging (Security settings) (Xiaomi) | Required for some automation features |
| Install via USB | Allows app installations |
Brand-Specific Instructions
Section titled “Brand-Specific Instructions”Some Android brands require additional settings for full compatibility with FeedFlux.
Samsung
Section titled “Samsung”- Additional step: Enable USB debugging in Settings → Developer options
- May also need to disable Auto blocker in Settings → Security
Xiaomi / MIUI
Section titled “Xiaomi / MIUI”In Developer options, also enable:
- USB debugging (Security settings)
- Install via USB
- Disable MIUI optimization (may require restart)
Disable MIUI permission monitoring
Huawei / EMUI
Section titled “Huawei / EMUI”- Enable Allow ADB debugging in charge only mode
- Set USB connection mode to File Transfer
OnePlus
Section titled “OnePlus”- Enable Disable permission monitoring
- Enable OEM unlocking (optional, for advanced features)
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Can’t find Build number | Search “Build number” in Settings search bar |
| Developer options disappeared | Re-tap Build number 7 times |
| USB debugging toggle grayed out | Disconnect USB cable, then toggle |
| Changes don’t persist | Some phones reset on reboot; re-enable as needed |
