Activating License on Desktop App
Section titled “Activating License on Desktop App”Use your license key to activate FeedFlux Desktop.
First-Time Activation
Section titled “First-Time Activation”- Download and install FeedFlux Desktop
- Open the application
- The activation screen appears automatically
- Copy your license key from the dashboard
- Paste the key into the input field
- Click Activate
- Wait for verification (requires internet)
- Success! The app unlocks

Activation Requirements
Section titled “Activation Requirements”- ✅ Valid, active subscription
- ✅ Internet connection
- ✅ License not already active on another device
Activation Errors
Section titled “Activation Errors”| Error | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| ”Invalid license key” | Typo or wrong key | Copy directly from dashboard |
| ”License expired” | Subscription ended | Renew subscription |
| ”Already activated” | Used on another device | Deactivate other device first |
| ”Connection failed” | No internet | Check internet connection |
Finding Your License Key
Section titled “Finding Your License Key”Your license key is required to activate FeedFlux Desktop.
Where to Find Your License Key
Section titled “Where to Find Your License Key”- Log in to your dashboard at https://feedflux.app
- Go to Account Information (main dashboard page)
- Find the License Key section
- Your key is displayed (format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)

Copying Your License Key
Section titled “Copying Your License Key”- Click the Copy button (📋) next to the key
- Key is copied to your clipboard
- Paste in FeedFlux Desktop activation screen
License Key Information
Section titled “License Key Information”| Field | Description |

| Plan | Your current subscription plan |
| Expires | When your subscription renews/expires |
No License Key Showing?
Section titled “No License Key Showing?”If you don’t see a license key:
- No subscription: Subscribe to a plan first
- Subscription expired: Resubscribe to get access
- New account: License generates after first subscription
License Binding (One Device Policy)
Section titled “License Binding (One Device Policy)”Each FeedFlux license is bound to one device at a time for security.
How License Binding Works
Section titled “How License Binding Works”- First activation: License binds to your device’s hardware ID
- Subsequent launches: App verifies same hardware ID
- Different device: Must deactivate first device
What is Hardware ID?
Section titled “What is Hardware ID?”Hardware ID is a unique identifier generated from your computer’s hardware:
- CPU information
- Motherboard serial
- Other hardware characteristics
This ensures your license can only be used on one computer.
Why One Device?
Section titled “Why One Device?”- Prevents license sharing and unauthorized use
- Ensures fair usage of your subscription
- Protects your account from misuse
Device Binding Details
Section titled “Device Binding Details”| Scenario | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Same computer, same hardware | ✅ Works normally |
| Same computer, major hardware change | ⚠️ May need to re-bind |
| Different computer | ❌ Must transfer license first |
| Virtual machine | ⚠️ May have issues (contact support) |

When to Transfer
Section titled “When to Transfer”- Getting a new computer
- Switching between work and personal computers
- Reinstalling operating system (may require transfer)
Transfer Steps
Section titled “Transfer Steps”Step 1: Deactivate Current Device
- Log in to your dashboard
- Go to Account Information
- Find the Device section
- Click Deactivate Device
- Confirm deactivation
Step 2: Activate on New Device
- Install FeedFlux Desktop on new computer
- Open the application
- Enter your license key
- Click Activate
- License binds to new device
Transfer Limitations
Section titled “Transfer Limitations”| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Transfers per month | Reasonable use (no hard limit) |
| Simultaneous devices | 1 device at a time |
| Transfer cooldown | None for legitimate use |
Can’t Access Old Device?
Section titled “Can’t Access Old Device?”If you can’t deactivate from the old device (lost, broken, etc.):
- Log in to your dashboard
- Go to Account Information → Device
- Click Force Deactivate or Deactivate Device
- This remotely unbinds the license
- Activate on your new device
Transfer Not Working?
Section titled “Transfer Not Working?”| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| ”License still active” | Wait a few minutes, try again |
| ”Too many transfers” | Contact support |
| Old device still shows | Force deactivate from dashboard |
